The MZRS232 was originally designed to control Panasonic LCD projectors. The codes were programmed into the switch and the end user was unable to alter the code. A short while after the first switch was installed a request was made to control another brand of projector. This lead to the development of MZSOFT . MZSOFT can be downloaded and distributed at no charge.

With this switch up to 8 buttons can be programmed to send up to a 20 character ASCII string out a single RS232 port. The baud rate can also be changed but each switch will use the same selected rate. The Manual can be downloaded by clicking DOWNLOAD MANUAL HERE.

The switch can be ordered as a kit containing the main board, cover plate, rubber inlay, power supply, programming cable and programming CD. It can also be purchased as just the working circuit board. This is a good choice if you just want to try it out.
