MZ5VTTL History
The MZ5VTTL is a completely in house project. We wanted
to see if we could control a lighting system with the MZRS232.
We were able to do it with an RS232 to X10 converter. After
some thought we realized that it would not be practical to
purchase a converter for each switch. The MZRS232 was
redesigned to have TTL level outputs instead of true RS232
level outputs. We then built a small circuit board that would allow
these TTL level signals to be combined and came up with the
TTLCMB1 . The only difference
between the MZ5VTTL and the MZRS232 is the output driver.
MZ5VTTL Description
The
MZ5VTTL was built to experiment with X10 signalling.
It can still be programmed with
MZSOFT .
MZSOFT
can be downloaded and distributed at no charge.
The Manual can be downloaded by clicking

MZ5VTTL Order
The switch can be ordered as a kit containing the
main board, cover plate, rubber inlay, power supply,
programming cable and programming CD. It can also be purchased
as just the working circuit board. This is a good choice if
you just want to try it out.
Please note contact us for order information. Single quantities are
